5 Inspirational People to Follow on Instagram

No matter how important health and fitness is to your lifestyle, there will inevitably be times when you feel down or struggle to find the motivation to keep going. But the great news is that thanks to the power of the internet (well, Instagram!) it’s easy to draw motivation from some hugely inspiring people. Here are five of our favourite fitness heroes on Instagram -

Jessie Graff

Jessie is most famously the first woman to complete the first stage of American Ninja Warrior, but behind that she has spent over a decade as a professional stunt woman along with being a black belt in numerous martial arts, a championship pole vaulter, and a competitive gymnast! Jessie – we salute you!

Joe Holder

Joe is the founder of The Ocho System, a healthy philosophy which focuses on both the body and the mind. His Instagram account is a joy to behold and will help you kick off that run when it’s grey and cold outside – and his blogs on Medium are worth delving into if you’re serious about fitness.

Alexia Clark

Whether you’re looking for new workouts, recipes, beauty products or fashion looks – Alexia’s Instagram is where it’s at. Her training combines HIIT with traditional crossfit, and favours exercise based on a full range of body movements and form over lifting weight.

Thor Bjornsson

Known to many as “The Mountain” from Game of Thrones, Thor’s fitness background is rooted in basketball and, after his career was ended by a knee injury at 20 years old, Strongmen competitions. Not only is his Instagram packed with inspiration – but his personal journey is an inspiration itself.

The Rock

What can we say about a man who needs no introduction? Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson serves up a daily dose of inspiration to over 82 million followers on Instagram, and that many people can’t be wrong!
