Curl bars are termed "curl" for a reason: the bar contains angles or dips that allow trainers to use distinctive grips when lifting the bar. Grips include the standard, or underhand, grip and the pronated, or overhand, grip.
EZ grip bar allows trainers to control more weight when performing bicep curls.
Use bar weights to challenge your body to lift heavier, and use dumbbells to make sure you are developing balanced, stable strength. Some people rotate from dumbbells to bar weights every week or month, while others utilize a mix of both at all times. Whatever schedule works best for you, variety is the key!
This was my 1st curl bar. It’s about the right weight and size for a beginner. It does the job well and works with my existing weights. The only issue is the spin lock collars come loose quickly. I switched mine for plastic ones from my dumbbells and they worked better!
